Columnist Dan Bickley, of the Arizona Republic, wrote this about today’s game: “(Adam Silver’s) NBA is approaching something of a breaking point. Unprepared and undeveloped college players are still making the game shrivel.” And, he added: “Parity is a myth, and this past season, the league was full of disappointing, underachieving, petulant teams.” Meaning: There are a lot of bad teams. Mr. Research and I have been saying it and Charles Barkley has been barking for years about how much the NBA game sucks. I am glad to see Bickley aboard the bandwagon. Now, the question is, how did we get here — and how are we going to get out of this?
