After the Suns lost to the Brooklyn Nets – a franchise-worst 8th straight home loss — the Arizona Republic suggested the “losing effort has become expected and fans in a sparse crowd validated it by not booing.” Really? How about fans just staying away from a record-tying 13th consecutive setback?

While on the Suns, Alex Len is one of the (few) positives. http://es.pn/1QlHAVD

Let’s hope for more of Saturday night’s 34-minute, 22-point, 16-rebound stints which helped snap the loss streak. Maybe it’s finally time to discover whether he regularly can play extended minutes — or if he’s going to remain injury prone.

And don’t get down on Devin Booker. http://bit.ly/1XTfDGj  Understand, playing against an opponent’s second team while 20 points behind is a lot different than when you’re a starter and teams key on you. What’s happened to Booker has happened to kids before him. Compared to college, the NBA is a long season. Relax – he’ll be a nice player in time. ***
