Tanks for the Memories

Last night, Houston Rockets with three-fifths of their starting line-up absent, beat the Suns. According to management and the doting press, fans should all be happy that Phoenix could win the [tanking] race against the L.A. Lakers for the worst record in the conference. Should we all be excited at the prospect of drafting another guard – UCLA’s Lonzo Ball?

Oh, but wait, the team that gets Lonzo also gets his daddy, LaVar [“Back in my heyday, I would kill Michael Jordan one-on-one!’’] Ball.

And, if I was Alex Len’s agent, I would be working overtime to place my client with some team that occasionally might throw him the ball in the low post.
