In 1955, the champion Syracuse Nationals each received … ice buckets … as mementos of the team’s only ever NBA title.  Sixty years later, to the day, Howard Dolgon, owner of the Syracuse Crunch hockey team, presented ceremonial championship rings to the team’s surviving members — Dolph Schayes, Bill Kenville, and Jim Tucker.  Billy Gabor, at age of 92, was unable to attend.  Members of his family stood in, as did the grown children of the late Earl Lloyd and Paul Seymour.
