Adam Silver, commissioner of the NBA, during All-Star weekend announced there will be no rule change regarding the “Hack-A-Shaq” controversy. After surveying fans, and conversing with network partners and, of course, the GMs and owners, Silver seems unsure of how to proceed. He says he’s concerned about players jumping on a player’s back during a free throw or fouling an in-bound passer.

Here are a couple of possible solutions: 1) take the lousy foul shooter out of the game because it is embarrassing. Players at this level making big money can’t shoot at least 50 per cent from the free throw line?

2) The NBA is big on getting “better in the summer.” So why not send these 15-foot-challenged players up to Golden State and let Curry and Thompson work with them on their shooting?
