After the Suns’ 1-and-4, five-game,Suns-coach-Jeff Hornacek, Phoenix head coach, lamented: “We run a three-on-two fast break and, instead of running for a lay-up or dunk, stop at the 3-point line. We pass up easy lay-ups and dunks to try to get a 3.” So … it’s all Hornacek’s fault because my resolution was not to be ranting about the absurdity of the game today. What they (the players) don’t seem to understand is this: when you attack the basket, opposing players get in foul trouble, and subsequently their team gets in foul trouble, and, most of the time, the complexion of the game changes – in your favor.###
