Orlando Summer League is just finishing and the Vegas Summer League is just starting and the Circle Jerk is in full swing.  Everyone is talking about how happy they are with their draft choice and how they got the guy they wanted all the time.  Later, we will have the September Circle Jerk.  Teams will talk about the players they’ve added and the few good teams will be talking about winning an NBA championship.  The teams in “transition”, pardon me, bad teams and there are many, will be talking about getting better and making the playoffs.

So, in September with the new season,  I will tell you why the summer league is a waste of time and money and eventually it becomes counter-productive. Stay tuned because it all can be done prior to training camp in September.
