When you make a coaching change and you look around you find that there are not many good coaches available.  So Ainge went into the college ranks and came out with Brad Stevens.  Why not?  But here’s one of the problems.  You can out coach the other team in college but you better have good players if you want to out coach the opposition in the NBA.  As the losses pile up, another problem comes into focus—-how long will jittery ownership go along with losing games and  a young coach.

I think he is a fine young man and I hope he makes it.  However, history tells us he may not.  If that happens, Ainge will also be history.
